  • Professional Photographer Magazine Cover!

We are very honored to have won the Professional Photographer Magazine Cover Contest!

I always thought this would make a great cover. It was an outtake from a Holiday Cover we shot for CityDog Magazine. Although it didn't quite look right for CityDog, I think it looks pretty amazing on the front of Professional Photographer. I could not be more thrilled with this honor!

I met Whiskey when his dog walker was out with him. He was so affectionate and lovable. He sat right down and let me scrunch his ears and scratch his chest. What a love. I gave my card to his dog walker to give to Whiskey’s owner. Then coincidentally I ran into her when I was out! How funny huh? He was just as lovable and was beside himself with joy playing in the snow. I am glad he let me get a couple shots of him with all that snow to play around in! What a wonderful day!

It’s always a mess when it snows in the Northwest. Thankfully I don’t have to hit the road or travel too far from my house to find some adorable dogs! The snow has been coming down all morning and it’s just been absolutely beautiful! We met Sadie, who was loving being out and about. Her owner was walking around with a young one on his back, and his beautiful girl Sadie, making the most of a gorgeous snowy day! Great to meet you Sadie and family!

I didn’t need to travel too far from home today thankfully! The roads are sort of a mess and really it’s too beautiful to want to even leave the comforts of our neighborhood! Today I met Kuba! What a little bullet! Kuba was having a blast in the snow and so were we. I had a great time meeting new neighbors and watching the kids play in the snow. Settled in now with some hot chocolate with marshmallows! Enjoy today’s Dog…Kuba!

I had the pleasure of running into Julia up in Mill Creek. She has the sweetest face and the most lovable disposition. Thank you so much for being a part of our project!

Please use the buttons at the bottom of this post to share with friends! We are really wanting to get the word spread far and wide over the course of 2012 so we can really make a fantastic donation! We will definitely need help from everyone! Thank you!

Dog-A-Day for Canine Cancer | Mill Creek Pet Photography | January 13

Today I was up in Mill Creek for most of the day hanging work at Paddywack. I will do a post about this soon as there is something in it for everyone local to here. But until I write it, you’ll have to just be in suspense a bit. Not to be mean, but only because I am just working out the final details. If you haven’t been up there, you should definitely head up, because it’s a fantastic pet store, and well…my work is now displayed there! I met this great guy and his Boxer, Bo. They were out on a run and Paddywack was their stopping point. I was glad he stopped, because Bo is adorable, lovable, and even though a little bit camera shy, he got the job done with a few treats from us. Stay tuned for an upcoming post about Bailey & Banjo + Paddywack! Thank you Bo, for making my day!
