  • Professional Photographer Magazine Cover!

We are very honored to have won the Professional Photographer Magazine Cover Contest!

I always thought this would make a great cover. It was an outtake from a Holiday Cover we shot for CityDog Magazine. Although it didn't quite look right for CityDog, I think it looks pretty amazing on the front of Professional Photographer. I could not be more thrilled with this honor!

Baby “L”

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with ‘baby L’ and his family last week. These were shot on his 13th day of life. He was SO sweet and adorable with beautiful dark blue eyes. I look forward to seeing him and his family again very soon. Congratulations to you guys, here are a few pictures from that day.

Fun with dogs…

We took our weekly trip to the dog park today and I was interested to try out some shooting like a friend of mine shoots skaterboarding. I spent the day not looking through my camera but just trying to catch what came near by. The dogs reactions were really varied and pretty hilarious. I am definitely going to do this again! It was a lot of fun to come home and see what I had captured. Here are a few from the day.

Sweet twin girls

This week I had the pleasure of following around these two adorable girls at the dog park. They were fast! and a lot of fun. We all enjoyed watching the many dogs running around and jumping in the river…including ours which seemed to always shake off the water right next to us!

Beautiful day at the dog park

Had some fun with Photoshop this week playing around with an image I took at the dog park. We love this park, and try to go weekly. The dogs love it too…I can tell from how we don’t hear a peep out of them the rest of the day after we go. As they say…a tired lab is a good lab.:)

Sigh…

Our youngest dog has managed to find the muddiest place to play. We were watering some new trees we put in and apparently Banjo likes the hose, so he kept digging and digging at the running water and then trying to drink it or play with it, we aren’t sure. The end result is a huge ditch in the yard and a very dirty dog!
